Tetiana Kartasheva (b. 1989) is a Ukrainian-Swiss visual artist based in Zurich. She studied Fine Arts at Kyiv National Technical University, earning a Bachelor's degree in 2010 and a Master's degree in 2012. Trained in academic painting, drawing, and printmaking, she worked in Visual Communications and design after graduation while developing an independent art practice.

In 2017, she moved to Neuchâtel, Switzerland, invited to work as a graphic artist for a private company. In 2021, she relocated to Zurich to pursue further education and independent artistic practice.

Working from her Zurich-based studio, she develops paintings, graphic works, and installations, exhibiting in Switzerland and abroad. Her work responds to contemporary acceleration and overwhelm — creating ordered arrangements of restrained forms, spatial balance, and rhythmic repetition as clear conditions for physical presence and mental calibration.

Recently her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions including Helmhaus, Zurich (2025); Hardraum, Zurich (2025); Rote Fabrik, Zurich (2024); Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien, Berlin (2024); Kabinett Visarte, Zurich (2025); and the Chapel of Kulturhaus Helferei, Zurich (2025), among others.
