The metaphor of the “Silver Thread,” became the title of the duo exhibition by Tetiana Kartasheva and Elena Corvaglia, expressesing an elusive and eternal connection that links the various components of every story. It looks into the presence of something that is not immediately obvious and is often seen as a guiding force that brings different elements of a puzzle together. Based on this concept, Tetiana Kartasheva explores how the elements of her drawings and collages can communicate an elusive connection between the physical and emotional realms, as well as between the randomness of nature and the order of the human mind. Through the organization of shapes and the creation of compositions, rhythms, and patterns, she creates a state of interconnectedness where the elements resonate with one another. By using paper and wood, as well as a monochromatic color palette and delicate structures, she reflects the fragility and transience of life and aims to create a safe space for inner exploration.
